Summary:

The Director of Core Banking is responsible for leading the strategy, delivery, support and continuous improvement of the organization's Core Banking eco system. This leader oversees the technology teams responsible for core banking applications, integrations, digital enablement and regulatory compliance while ensuring secure, reliable and scalable banking operations.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum seven years' IT project and program management experience required
  • Minimum five years' experience developing automated testing solutions
  • Banking, lending, and business management processes, as well as systems implementations, process reengineering, and requirements definition preferred
  • Experience in Fiserv Core Banking Products and its Integrations will be preferred
  • Knowledge of Business Banking Products, Automic Batch Process will be a plus


Job Responsibilities:
  • Manages inventory of hardware assets and/or software licenses to ensure compliance with IT Asset Management Controls
  • Ensures effective and accurate management of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
  • Oversee day-to-day Support, incident management, system availability and operational excellence
  • Lead Implementation, Modernization, Upgrades and Optimization of Core Banking products and integrated applications
  • Generates and distributes reports, including compliance reports on current assets and Configuration Items (Cis) and performs trend analyses
  • Drive automation, process improvement, cloud adoption, and modernization initiatives when appropriate
  • Develop budgets, manage technology investments, and optimize operational costs
  • Analyzes software and hardware usage reports and establishes removal rules for infrequently used software and hardware
  • Leads change management processes, procedures and policies
  • Develops weekly, monthly and quarterly change report to identify change related risk assessment and obtain required approvals for deployments
  • Partners cross functionally within the IT organization, including Infrastructure, Applications and Cyber Security to help resolve departmental issues related to change management
  • Manages ServiceNow Operational Dashboards (Incident/Problem/Change) for Hosting Services division including progress to divisional and section goals.
  • Recommends and helps drive improvements for divisional ITSM processes
  • Monitors, measures, and reports on the effectiveness of the process, collaborating with internal IT Service Managers and Business stakeholders on metrics
  • Develops strategies for replacing and updating hardware and software that incorporates and aligns with overall information security and business strategies.
  • *Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor
  • *Performs all duties inherent in the role of a people manager

The good faith range for this position is $138,750 - $173,500 per year. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
