What You'll Do Day to Day:Responsible for developing insights and recommendations in a collaborative environment to provide strategic foresight based on competitive intelligence and market trends. Effectively provides industry experience to ensure the business is equipped with best-in-class products and an industry leading customer experience to prepare the organization for the next phase of growth.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Develop a series of comprehensive research reports synthesizing actionable insights from a variety of primary and secondary research sources.
- Articulate LendingPoint's competitive product and marketing position against peers.
- Partner with a wide array of subject matter experts from within the business to create results that impact LendingPoint's long-term product, marketing, and customer experience strategies.
- Develop a library of analytic resources readily accessible to internal teams.
- Manage vendor partnerships throughout various projects.
- Maximize the value of research subscriptions by regularly pushing studies to the team, analyzing usage, and finding ways to leverage and contribute to our growth.
- Produce reports that visualize consumer research and market data alongside compelling narratives culminating in business recommendations supported by due diligence and strong data.
- Evaluate the needs of the business to ensure that the competitive insights functional area keeps pace.
- Mentor, train and manage the tasks of additional researchers as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics or similar, preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in research using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
- 2+ years on an insights team for marketing, product, or UX design.
- 2+ years' experience in analysis using Excel or Google Sheets, Tableau, QResearch or SPSS.
- 3+ years' experience building presentations and reports in PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to manage people and effectively address workflow & task management.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Consumer Finance industry.
- Proven experience in researching or launching innovations to existing or new products.
- Proven track record in driving results in a fast paced, dynamic, start- up environment.
