Full Job Description

Director, Change Management, CSA (Commercial Systems Acceleration)

We're looking for an experienced Director, Change Management to provide end-to-end oversight of change management across a large-scale, multi-year commercial systems transformation program. This program is modernizing how commercial work gets done across the business — spanning platform enablement, process simplification, AI-enabled delivery, and legacy system retirement.

This is an integrator role: you'll bring together change readiness across multiple personas, business segments, and parallel program workstreams into one coherent picture, partnering closely with a cross-functional team.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Director, Change Management, you will be responsible for:

Strategy, Standards & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans for large-scale transformation initiatives, including stakeholder analysis, communication plans, training programs, and resistance management
  • Define and track adoption metrics and KPIs to measure change effectiveness and demonstrate business value
  • Define reusable templates each business segment can execute against (change impact assessment, change readiness assessment, change strategy, change management plan)
  • Build a holistic change management approach that connects existing segment-level efforts already underway, rather than replacing them
  • Continuously improve change management methodology and tools based on lessons learned across the program

Team & Thought Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of change management professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring effective program delivery
  • Act as a thought leader in change management, providing strategic guidance and innovative solutions to complex organizational challenges across the program

Cross-Program Oversight & Governance

  • Oversee change management dependencies, risks, and issues across business segments and program workstreams
  • Maintain a consolidated view of change management milestones across all workstreams, providing a single picture of readiness and risk
  • Establish governance structures and a reporting cadence for change readiness and risk, feeding into existing program leadership forums (e.g., steering committee updates)
  • Monitor overall change readiness across the program and escalate material gaps to leadership
  • Provide input into launch decisions based on consolidated change readiness, alongside segment and program leadership

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, program/project managers, and stakeholders to integrate change management activities into overall program plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the organization, managing expectations and fostering collaboration
  • Define and stand up a cross-functional change management stakeholder network, identifying roles, teams, and named contacts required across segments (e.g., change management, sales enablement, operations, customer support, legal)

About You

You're a fit for the role of Director, Change Management if you have:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience leading change management for large-scale business or technology transformation programs, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience developing and executing change strategies for simultaneous, interdependent programs in a matrixed global organization
  • Exceptional people leadership skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
  • Superior stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively from frontline level to senior business leadership
  • Proven ability to establish adoption metrics and demonstrate business value from change management investment
  • Recognized thought leadership in change management and organizational development, with the ability to provide strategic guidance on complex organizational challenges

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or related field)
  • Prosci, CCMP, PMP, or equivalent certification
  • Experience supporting ERP migrations, commercial systems consolidation, or CRM/ERP platform implementations (e.g., Salesforce, SAP)
