Job Summary:

Responsible for end-to-end (E2E) contract management capability development across Geisinger. The Director is responsible for transforming the enterprise contracting process including supporting contract teams and business stakeholders in driving the education, understanding and compliance with the contracting practices and procedures. This person will execute and deliver value by ensuring a robust foundation and strong process management across all aspects of the contract function and in its advancing maturity. ​

Job Duties:

  • Lead planning, managing, and implementing of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) processes within the department and across the enterprise (e.g. new functional rollouts and capabilities)
  • Work with the executive sponsors and Steering Committee to ensure that the contract management process and policies are complied with throughout the enterprise.
  • Lead testing activities for new roll outs and ensure compliance with approved policies, processes, and controls
  • Oversee stabilization period after new roll out of CLM technology to ensure no ongoing/lingeringissues and smooth transition. Ensure smooth execution to gain credibility with internal customers and stakeholders
  • Manage a team of specialists that executes best-practice contracting activities such as demand management, contract management, reporting & analytics, vendor management and more
  • Oversee the development and reassessment of processes, tools and systems, training materials, and policies that are central to E2E contract management
  • Responsible for continuous improvements to performance metrics, programs/processes, systems, and innovations to achieve higher levels of business impact and improve CLM maturity
  • Drive resolution to systemic process, technology and program gaps; Resolves any cross-functional (departmental) issues
  • Serves as leader in contracting with consistent execution of the process across the organization
  • Lead change management efforts to continuously build new processes, analytics and performance metrics, and better integrate CLM into business unit decision making across all categories of spend
  • Establishes and communicates the process mission goals, and objectives to all stakeholders
  • Provide input on performance metrics, target level setting and prioritization of transformation projects
  • Reports on the effectiveness of the program including key metrics and process maturity to senior management
