Location: 8125 N. Hayden Rd. -- travel to medical group locations

Ideal candidates will possess a unique blend of healthcare operations expertise, analytical excellence, and emerging AI capabilities. Successful candidates will have experience developing performance metrics and reporting solutions, leading operational improvement initiatives, partnering with executive and physician leaders, and translating complex data into actionable business insights that drive results.

Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY

This position provides strategic business leadership for assigned service line(s), including financial planning, performance improvement, operational dashboarding, and strategic execution. The Director partners closely with Finance, Strategy, and Operational Intelligence to drive service line growth, efficiency, and accountability. Areas of oversight include business operations, capital planning, staffing models, provider recruitment, business development, and service line dashboards. The Director serves as a trusted advisor in financial matters, developing business plans and strategies with Finance engagement. Responsibilities include benchmarking performance, analyzing throughput and cost metrics, and leading monthly business reviews. The role is service line-specific and not cross-functional by default, though surface-level collaboration across lines may occur.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead annual operating, capital, and long-range financial planning for assigned service line(s). Develop business plans and presentations. Perform monthly and quarterly analyses in partnership with Finance and Service Line Leadership.
  • Develop feasibility studies for new programs and manage key programmatic initiatives for the service line. Monitor compliance with value based and co-management agreements. Partner with Marketing and Communications to promote service line achievements.
  • Report service line results by location, condition category, provider, and market area. Identify trends and gaps. Develop action plans to improve performance. Create and monitor reporting systems with Finance.
  • Develop and implement procedures and work methods to ensure service line effectiveness. Collaborate with Operational Intelligence, Process Improvement, and Quality.
  • Conduct market research and internal analysis to identify growth opportunities. Support strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations. Monitor industry dynamics and reimbursement policies.
  • Provide coaching and development to team members and staff to enhance financial and operational excellence. Perform other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION

  • Bachelors Health Services Administration, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field Required
  • Masters Health Services Administration, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field Preferred


EXPERIENCE

  • 7 years of progressive healthcare leadership in finance, business development, or service line operations Required
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, PowerBI, Workday, and financial systems Preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of business operations, forecasting, budget management, project management, and financial analysis Preferred
