Position: Director, Business DevelopmentPosition Summary: The Director of Business Development, serves as a key member of the Northwest Texas Healthcare System Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for advancing the organization's growth strategy, market development initiatives, and long-term business objectives. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with executive leadership team, this role provides leadership and direction for strategic growth opportunities that drive enhanced market position, expand strategic service lines, improve regional access to care, strengthen physician and community partnerships, and support the organization's mission and financial sustainability. The Director is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing opportunities for business growth across the continuum of care, including service line expansion, ambulatory development, physician alignment, strategic affiliations, partnerships, and other initiatives that create enterprise value. Through a deep understanding of healthcare market dynamics, competitive intelligence, consumer trends, and emerging industry opportunities, the Director develops actionable growth strategies that position Northwest Texas Healthcare System for continued success within the Texas Panhandle and surrounding service areas. As a trusted strategic advisor, this leader works collaboratively with executive, physician, and operational leaders to align growth initiatives with organizational priorities and operational capabilities. The Director provides data-driven insights and strategic recommendations that support executive decision-making, capital investment planning, market expansion efforts, and organizational transformation. This position represents the organization in developing key external relationships and serves as a catalyst for innovation, partnership development, and sustainable growth. P rovision of Services:- Lead the development and execution of Northwest Texas Healthcare System's growth strategy to strengthen market position, expand access to care, and achieve long-term organizational objectives. Partner with executive leadership to identify, prioritize, and advance strategic initiatives that drive sustainable growth across the health system.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic growth opportunities including service line expansion, physician alignment, ambulatory development, partnerships, affiliations, joint ventures, and other business development initiatives. Develop recommendations to enhance the organization's competitive position and regional presence.
- Provide executive leadership with actionable market intelligence and strategic insights related to industry trends, competitive dynamics, consumer demand, physician workforce changes, reimbursement models, and emerging growth opportunities. Translate complex data into clear strategic recommendations that support informed decision-making.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with physicians, community leaders, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, employers, payers, and other key stakeholders to strengthen Northwest Texas Healthcare System's market influence and support strategic growth objectives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and senior leadership team regarding growth strategy, business development opportunities, organizational transformation, and market positioning. Develop and present strategic analyses, business cases, and recommendations to executive leadership and governing boards.

Qualifications Job Requirements: - Mater's degree in Healthcare Asministration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field
- Ten years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare business development, strategy, service line growth and operations
- Demonstrates high level of organization skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications

- Ability to speak and hear, and effectively communicate to allow discussions with employees, physician, peers, and others;
