Responsibilities

  • Perform all Project Executive and Operations Manager duties as needed.
  • Review and approve estimates and schedules for projects.
  • Assist in negotiating and executing construction contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in project planning and job start meetings.
  • Conduct periodic job site visits and report to Division Manager.
  • Oversee project financials and maintain positive cash flow.
  • Develop and renew client relationships with Business Development team.
  • Contribute to the Division Business Plan and company oversight.
  • Monitor profitability of the operations group.

Compensation Range
$171,400.00 - $285,700.00 Annual Salary

Job Description Summary:
Overall general supervision of operations with bottom-line profit accountability, including technical and administrative decisions, and advise Division Manager in actions relevant to projects and personnel.

Job Description:

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Able to perform all Project Executive and Operations Manager responsibilities, and perform all such responsibilities as requested.

In addition to above:
  • Review and approve estimates and schedules prepared for negotiated projects and hard bid jobs.
  • Review of construction contract terms and conditions, assist in contract negotiations as needed, and execution of all construction contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and rules relevant to contracts, business and licensing.
  • Review in project planning, including participation as needed in job start meetings and planning sessions.
  • Review and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and quality standards.
  • Make periodic job visits and review, and report accurate status to Division Manager.
  • Review project financials, and advise project teams and Division Manager to ensure a positive cash flow, address potential impacts, and ensure timely progress payments.
  • Review and advise Division Manager on project management reports, and any actions that should be taken based on the reports.
  • Coordinate with Business Development to develop new or renewed client relationships.
  • Review and participate in preparation of Division Business Plan.
  • Review and participate in administration and oversight of company as required.
  • Monitor and advise as to the bottom line profit of operation group
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.


Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
  • Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience
  • Field construction experience (15 years, including supervisory skills)
  • Leadership ability
  • Problem-solving ability and strong sense of urgency
  • Organizational and communication skills
  • Drafting and computer skills
  • Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting
  • Thorough understanding of all project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, procurement and estimating)
