Full Job Description
The Energy group in our Corporate Department is currently seeking a senior-level associate to join its highly regarded team located in our Calgary Office. This group provides leading advice on all aspects of energy-related private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and complex project development transactions, including project structuring, co-ownership arrangements, operations, marketing, construction, procurement, supply/offtake transactions, and new development involving industry conglomerates and investor groups to emerging independent producers and operators.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be qualified to practice law in Alberta and have the following credentials:
  • Between 6 - 8 years of experience (in private practice or a combination of private practice and in-house) in oil and gas, power and renewables, including private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and/or project development;
  • Strong academic credentials; and
  • Strong analytical, communication and drafting skills.
