Job Description:This is a strategic, operational, and people leader role responsible for leading a specialized team that creates timely, high-impact technical learning content in response to the rapidly changing AI landscape. AI is evolving quickly, and learners need practical, trustworthy content that helps them understand new tools, workflows, platforms, and skills as they emerge. This role turns urgent learner needs into clear priorities and high-quality technical content delivered with speed and precision.
This Director will directly manage a team of individual contributors working across authoring, content review, curriculum support, video editing, and project management. The role will also partner closely with the broader curriculum organization and solutions portfolio leads to ensure content aligns with larger learning strategies, quality standards, and portfolio priorities.

What you'll do:AI Content Development & Prioritization- Lead the team responsible for identifying and responding to urgent content needs in AI
- Translate market signals, learner needs, technology shifts, and stakeholder input into best-in-class learning experiences.
- Prioritize content based on learner impact, business value, technical relevance, and speed to market.
- Ensure the team's pipeline reflects current and emerging needs in AI and related technical domains
- Support Curriculum and AI Solutions leads by developing and delivering the content they need to execute on their strategy.
Cross-Functional Team Leadership- Directly manage and develop a team of individual contributors across authoring, review, curriculum support, video editing, and project management.
- Set clear goals, expectations, workflows, and quality standards for a team operating in an expedited content model.
- Build a culture of urgency, accountability, experimentation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Content Direction & Learning Quality- Provide direction on content topics, audience, scope, skill level, learning outcomes, and positioning within the broader library.
- Ensure content is practical, focused, technically credible, instruction-ally sound, and aligned to learner needs.
- Partner with the broader content teams to align this team's work with larger curriculum strategies, learning standards, and portfolio goals.
Expedited Delivery & Experimentation- Own delivery performance across a portfolio of rapid technical content initiatives.
- Oversee planning, resourcing, timelines, dependencies, and risk management across multiple concurrent productions.
- Create delivery practices that support fast turnaround while preserving technical accuracy and quality.
- Foster experimentation with new content formats/styles, workflows, and production approaches while maintaining the discipline required to deliver quickly and consistently.
Portfolio Health & Stakeholder Alignment- Monitor content performance, relevance, freshness, and learner value across the rapid content portfolio.
- Identify when content should be updated, expanded, replaced, or retired as technologies evolve.
- Use data, market signals, learner feedback, and stakeholder input to inform portfolio decisions.
- Serve as a key partner to leaders across content, curriculum, product, production, operations, and business teams.
- Communicate priorities, progress, risks, tradeoffs, and resource needs clearly to senior stakeholders.
Requirements:- 8-12+ years of experience in technical content, content operations, technical education, curriculum planning, technical production, program management, or digital learning.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience, preferable leading individual contributors in a content, learning, production, or technical environment.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, especially in technical or professional learning domains.
- Ability to research, interpret, and prioritize emerging technology trends at a planning level.
- Demonstrated ability to improve workflows, production processes, delivery models, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, tools, platforms, and trends required.
- This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
