Full Job Description
Job Description

The Director, Adobe Digital Marketing role carries a bookings and revenue number for a defined portion of the Adobe practice, and it puts you in front of clients as the person who decides what their marketing stack should become. You set the standard the work is built against, and you are the senior voice on the engagements where the stakes are highest.

This is a growth-oriented, client-facing billable role, and the design you recommend is the one Perficient then has to deliver. A recommendation you make in a workshop becomes an implementation plan six weeks later, so the judgment has to hold up in front of a client CFO and a delivery team.

Responsibilities

What you will own

The number
  • Bookings and revenue for your portion of the Adobe practice.
  • Pipeline. What is in it, who is leading it, what converts, and what you do when it thins.
  • The assessment and advisory offering. What it costs, what it delivers, and the revenue it produces.
  • Follow-on scope that comes out of your assessments, with a number attached to it.
  • The solution input that decides whether Perficient wins a pursuit.
  • Your own billability alongside all of it.

Client work
  • Assessment of the client's current marketing stack, including everything connected to Adobe that constrains what Adobe can do.
  • The target-state design, built from the client's use cases rather than a reference diagram.
  • Identity resolution and data model design in Real-Time CDP, including the governance and consent architecture that has to hold across jurisdictions.
  • Rationalization across overlapping capabilities, including Campaign against Journey Optimizer, Marketo Engage against Journey Optimizer B2B, Analytics against Customer Journey Analytics, and Target against native decisioning.
  • The content production model across GenStudio, Firefly, Workfront, and Experience Manager Assets, including the workflow change that makes the volume achievable.
  • Migration sequencing that keeps the marketing calendar running while the platform underneath it changes.
  • Where the agentic layer belongs, including CX Coworker, Brand Intelligence, and Experience Platform Agents, and what has to be true in the data architecture before any of it works.
  • Consumption and cost modeling for Experience Platform, so clients understand the renewal implications of design decisions before they commit to them.
  • Executive workshops and design sessions with client marketing and technology leadership.

The capability
  • The Perficient standard for Adobe digital marketing work, and the review that enforces it.
  • Solution review on major pursuits and programs. You are the last look before a design reaches a client.
  • Reference architectures, accelerators, and reusable assets that raise the floor on every engagement.
  • The practice position on where Adobe is taking digital marketing, including agentic orchestration, generative content production, and discovery moving into language models.

The team
  • The career track for the consultants and architects in your area, including what each level has to demonstrate and who is ready to move.
  • Hiring, and the bar someone clears to join this practice.
  • Development of the senior people who will hold this role after you.
  • Staffing judgment about who belongs on which engagement.

Qualifications

  • Ten or more years in enterprise marketing technology, including at least six across the Adobe stack.
  • A bookings or revenue target carried and met.
  • Ownership of a capability, standard, or technical discipline inside a consulting firm or a large enterprise.
  • Depth in Adobe Experience Platform and Real-Time CDP, including identity, data modeling, governance, and consumption economics.
  • Working command of Journey Optimizer, Campaign, Marketo Engage, Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, Target, and Experience Manager, with the judgment to know which of them a client needs.
  • Content production at volume through GenStudio, Firefly, Workfront, or Experience Manager Assets, including the operating model that made it work.
  • Enterprise migrations designed and delivered, such as Campaign to Journey Optimizer or Analytics to Customer Journey Analytics.
  • Complex programs delivered in a consulting environment, where the design you recommended is the design that shipped.
  • People hired, developed, and promoted.
  • Executive communication that holds up with a CMO and a CIO in the same room.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client engagements and business development.

Preferred
  • Agentic or generative AI running in a production marketing stack, with results you can substantiate.
  • Hands-on exposure to CX Coworker, Brand Intelligence, Experience Platform Agents, and/or Brand Visibility.
  • B2B marketing at enterprise scale, including Marketo Engage or Journey Optimizer B2B Edition.
  • An assessment or advisory offering built and taken to market.
  • Adobe certification at the architect or expert level.
  • Adobe integrated with Salesforce, a data warehouse, or a customer data platform outside the Adobe stack.
  • Depth in health and life sciences, financial services, or retail and consumer.
  • Regulated-industry work where consent and privacy review shaped the design.
