Full Job Description
Job Description

You will lead Perficient's Adobe delivery on one of our most demanding enterprise accounts, a global industrial manufacturer that sells through an independent dealer network across more than a hundred countries. The program spans content supply chain, digital marketing, and the agentic capability being built on top of both.

These are not standard AEM problems. Thousands of products across dozens of languages and markets. A brand that has to hold its shape through dealers the client does not own. Customer data split between direct channels and dealer relationships, where identity resolution decides whether personalization is possible at all. The content operation has to produce at a volume that only works when it is engineered rather than staffed. The leader who takes this on will be judged on whether the program produces business outcomes the client can measure, not on whether the platform went live.

This is a delivery role. You are billable, you are accountable for the program, and the account grows because the current work earns the next phase.

Responsibilities

What you will own

Program delivery

  • The full Adobe program, from estimate through value realization against the business case the client approved.
  • Engagement financials. Resource plans, budgets, forecast accuracy, and margin on every statement of work.
  • Recovery when a workstream slips, including the conversation with the client executive who is losing confidence.
  • Risk and quality across a distributed team working in multiple regions and time zones.
  • A delivery method that fits the work. Agile where the software allows it, staged governance where procurement and enterprise review do not.

Solution direction
  • Architecture across content supply chain, customer data, and journey orchestration, including where Adobe stops and the client's existing stack takes over.
  • Integration design across APIs, automation, and the systems of record nobody is going to replace.
  • The agentic roadmap, including CX Coworker, Agent Orchestrator, and GenStudio, sequenced against what the client's content operation can absorb.
  • The technical call when the room is split and the decision cannot wait for consensus.

The client relationship
  • The executive relationship across marketing, IT, and the digital leaders who own the roadmap.
  • Advisory on future-state marketing capability, including which capabilities to build and which to retire.
  • Account growth that comes out of delivery. Scope expands because the current program deserved it.
  • The candor to tell a client executive that the plan they are attached to will not work.

Team
  • A cross-functional team spanning strategy, architecture, engineering, and content operations across regions.
  • Development of the leaders under you, including the ones who will run the workstreams you used to run.
  • Talent decisions on the account, including who belongs on it.

Qualifications

  • Twelve or more years delivering Adobe implementations at enterprise scale, with accountability for whole program outcomes rather than a single workstream.
  • Programs delivered across Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, Real-Time CDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Workfront.
  • Content supply chain transformation delivered in production, including asset production workflow, DAM architecture, localization at volume, and the operating model change that made the platform work.
  • Marketing transformation or customer experience modernization owned from business case through measured outcome.
  • Ownership of engagement financials, including resource plans, budgets, forecast, and margin.
  • Delivery leadership across distributed teams in multiple geographies.
  • Complex program delivery in manufacturing, industrial, or another business that reaches its customers through an independent dealer or distributor network.
  • Substantial billability while carrying account leadership responsibility.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client engagements and team leadership.

Preferred
  • CX Coworker, Agent Orchestrator, or GenStudio delivered or piloted with a client.
  • Generative AI applied to content production at volume, with throughput results you can substantiate.
  • Adobe certification at the architect or expert level across AEM Sites, Journey Optimizer, Real-Time CDP, or Workfront.
  • B2B customer data architecture where identity has to resolve across a channel partner who owns the relationship.
  • Adobe integrated with Salesforce or an ERP-anchored product data source.
  • Time inside a global manufacturer's marketing organization.
