Role OverviewSodexo at Beacon College in Leesburg, FL seeks our
Facilities Management Director to lead a comprehensive Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) program across a uniquely mission-driven campus serving approximately 600 students. Managing maintenance, custodial, grounds and HVAC, this role will keep our campus environment pristine, including athletic fields, a swimming pool, with our team of 20-22 full-time employees. Our Leader will partner directly with the campus President and CFO, providing strategic guidance, operational leadership, and a calm, patient presence in a community designed to support students with physical and emotional challenges. This is a role for a leader who can influence at the C-suite level, mentor emerging managers, and engage thoughtfully with highly involved parents.

What You'll Do- Lead all aspects of Integrated Facilities Management, including maintenance, custodial services, energy management, grounds, athletic fields, and pool operations.
- Partner directly with the President and CFO multiple times per week to provide strategic planning, capital forecasting, and operational updates.
- Develop and mentor a team of 20-22 FTEs, building a strong internal pipeline for future Sodexo leadership roles.
- Oversee maintenance of 40 campus buildings and 50 acres, addressing deferred maintenance with a focus on aging HVAC systems and long-term infrastructure planning.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and responsive environment for students with diverse physical and emotional needs, while communicating effectively with engaged parents.

What You Bring- Proven success leading large, diverse facilities teams with a focus on coaching, autonomy, and succession development.
- Exceptional patience, empathy, and communication skills suited to a campus serving students with unique challenges and highly involved families.
- Experience managing complex IFM programs, including energy, custodial, maintenance, grounds, and athletic facilities.
- Strong technical understanding of building systems, particularly aging HVAC infrastructure and long-term capital planning.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate at the C-suite level, including regular engagement with senior institutional leadership
