Responsibilities

La Compagnie Howmet Canada, qui fait partie de Howmet Aerospace, est actuellement à la recherche d'un directeur des ressources humaines pour assurer un leadership des ressources humaines pour nos installation de fabrication à Laval, au Québec. Ce poste sera basé à Laval et relèvera du directeur des ressources humaines situé à Cleveland, Ohio, États-Unis.

Howmet Canada Company, part of Howmet Aerospace, is currently seeking a Human Resource Manager to provide end-to-end Human Resource leadership for our manufacturing facility in Laval, Quebec. This position will be based in Laval and reports to the HR Director located in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

Key responsibilities include:
• Partner with plant leadership to translate business strategy into HR strategy
• Foster a positive labor relations environment, including team building and effective communications
• Establish trust with members of union leadership
• Partner with the Plant Managers and Staff to deliver HR solutions that meet business needs
• Develop and maintain a human resources system that meets top management information needs.
• Satisfy Business Unit reporting requirements as requested
• Create a diverse workforce and inclusive environment
• Develop and implement strategic staffing and recruitment methods and processes
• Be a champion for Talent management and Workforce Planning
• Lead Workforce Planning initiatives including succession planning, talent management and training/development.
• Recruit, interview, test, and select employees to fill vacant positions.
• Lead Performance Management and Compensation Planning efforts
• Analyze wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.
• Administer salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity.
• Ensure proper recordkeeping of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
• Leverage internal organizational effectiveness and leadership development processes
• Be a change agent and encourage continuous improvement activities
• Deliver results that align with a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Oversee HRIS administration
• Partner with corporate teams for benefit administration, W/C administration and payroll coordination
• Ensure proper administration of employee benefits such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment and labor laws
• Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law.
• Ensure compliance with various leave of absence laws and regulations
• Ensure compliance with Howmet Aerospace policies and procedures
• Advise management in appropriate resolution of labor relations issues.
• Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.

Qualifications

Qualifications de base :
