Job DescriptionThe Director, Content Supply Chain Orchestration is accountable for defining and leading the strategic direction, operating model, and execution of an enterprise content supply chain orchestration capability that enables faster, higher-quality, and more cost-effective content creation at scale. This role translates business priorities into an integrated content supply chain strategy that supports global product launches, omnichannel engagement, and reuse of approved content across markets and brands.
This leader owns the orchestration layer across people, process, data, and technology, with responsibility for standardization, governance, automation, and value realization across the end-to-end content lifecycle. The role requires strong strategic leadership in a highly matrixed, regulated environment, including the ability to influence senior leaders, shape enterprise decisions, lead global transformation, and build high-performing teams that deliver measurable business impact.
Required Experience & Qualifications:- 8+years experience leading complex, technology-enabled business transformation in global, matrixed organizations, with demonstrated accountability for enterprise outcomes and cross-functional delivery.
- Proven success designing, scaling, and governing operating models, workflows, or platforms that improve speed, quality, compliance, and efficiency across an end-to-end process.
- Strong experience partnering with senior stakeholders across business, technology, operations, and compliance functions to shape strategy, drive alignment, and manage complex trade-offs.
- Demonstrated track record leading organizational change, global rollouts, and adoption of new capabilities in regulated environments, including management of risk, dependencies, and value realization.
- Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams, including coaching leaders and fostering an inclusive, accountable, and growth-oriented culture.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other highly regulated business environments, including the importance of governance, compliance, and quality.
- Preferred experience with content supply chain, digital asset management, workflow orchestration, metadata strategy, and Adobe-based or related enterprise platforms.
- This role will report into Executive Director, Content Enablement & Execution and will lead up to 10 members of the product team.

Education Minimum Requirement:Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, life sciences, or a related field required.
Advanced degree preferred.
Key Accountabilities1. Strategy, Operating Model, and Governance
•Define and evolve the enterprise strategy, operating model, and governance for content supply chain orchestration, aligned to business priorities, launch needs, and long-term capability goals.
•Establish decision frameworks, standards, and guardrails that enable consistency, scale, compliance, and efficient execution across the end-to-end content lifecycle.
•Translate strategic objectives into prioritized roadmaps, clear success measures, and sequenced delivery plans across people, process, data, and technology.
2. End-to-End Process Design and Orchestration
•Own the design and continuous improvement of scalable, standardized workflows spanning intake, planning, creation, review, approval, distribution, reuse, and retirement of content.
•Balance enterprise standardization with market and brand needs, ensuring the operating model supports both global consistency and local execution requirements.
•Identify opportunities to reduce cycle time, improve quality, eliminate duplication, and increase reuse through simplification and orchestration.
3. Data, Metadata, and Automation
•Lead the enterprise approach to taxonomy, metadata, and tagging standards to improve findability, reuse, reporting, and downstream optimization.
•Drive automation opportunities across the content supply chain, leveraging workflow and platform capabilities to improve efficiency, control, and user experience.
•Partner with data, analytics, and platform teams to ensure orchestration capabilities generate actionable insights and measurable business value.
4. Platform Enablement and Transformation Delivery
•Provide business leadership for orchestration-related platform capabilities, including prioritization of enhancements, integrations, and rollout sequencing.
•Lead large-scale transformation and migration efforts from legacy tools and fragmented ways of working into a standardized future-state ecosystem.
•Ensure delivery is achieved with clear governance, strong dependency management, disciplined risk mitigation, and minimal business disruption.
5. Stakeholder Leadership and Enterprise Influence
•Serve as a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders across business, operations, technology, legal, regulatory, medical, and external partners.• Influence enterprise decisions by articulating trade-offs, risks, and recommendations clearly, and by building alignment across stakeholder groups without direct authority.
•Communicate progress, issues, and outcomes to leadership with clarity and transparency, reinforcing accountability and confidence in delivery.
6. People Leadership and Capability Building
•Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global team, building depth in strategic thinking, execution excellence, and change leadership.• Create an inclusive and accountable culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and strong talent development.
•Assess capability gaps and build the organizational structures, roles, and development plans needed to sustain long-term success.
