Willow Springs Center has an opening for the Director of Residential Programming.

We're now offering a $5,000.00 sign on bonus for this position.

Job Overview
The Director of Residential Programming provides the leadership, strategic planning and effective management of the clinical services offered at the facility to support the delivery of quality behavioral health care and service to patients in the behavioral health inpatient and outpatient setting. Assesses the quality of our clinical programming and social service provision to patients and families. Assures maintenance of standards for quality clinical services as defined by professional bodies, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and other accrediting organizations. Supervises all clinical program activities for all in-patient units. Supervision includes, but is not limited to, clinical programming, interactions with patients as well as implementing new programs and in-services as needed. Designs and leads implementation of clinical programming. Assists with the provision of leadership and strategic planning of the clinical services and programs offered ensuring programs meet the needs of the community and the facility's performance goals and objectives.

Duties
  • The Director of Clinical Programming develops, organizes and implements clinical and program activities.
  • Accurately and thoroughly documents interventions using goals developed in the master treatment plan and treatment plan revisions.
  • Assumes responsibility for maintaining census.
  • Develop the master treatment and continuing care plans. Reviews plans with patient and family as required.
  • Facilitates or co-facilitates group activity and group therapy.
  • Participates in community meetings and educational activities to promote the Inpatient program and maintain licensure/CEU Compliance.
  • Provides pertinent patient related information to Treatment Team through attendance at team conference or providing appropriate documentation to DCS.
  • Provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, and continually monitoring and evaluating the care given patients on the unit via collaboration during treatment team, unit meetings and coordination with other leaders in the organization.
  • Supervises the use of application procedures to ensure clinical and medication criterion are met. Work with Medical Director, Nursing, CFO, UR Department and clinicians to ensure patient appropriateness for treatment.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's prepared or Master's Degree required. LMSW, LCSW, LMFT OR LPC preferred.
  • Experience: Five years' experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, preferably in a hospital outpatient setting. Must have knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of psychiatric treatment, standards and requirements of all hospital agencies.
  • Other: Knowledge of group therapy theory and practice, group processes, therapeutic relationship processes, age specific growth and development, addictions issues, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management and aggressive behaviors and CPR training. Experience in developing, managing and marketing inpatient programs. Understand and honor the established hospital rules, regulations, and Policy & Procedures.
  • Proven management experience in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Strong program development skills with a focus on inpatient services.
  • Administrative experience in a leadership role within behavioral health or related fields.
  • Proficient in program management principles and practices.
  • Supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial oversight in a healthcare setting.
