The Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) organization within the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solution (CEMA) Business is seeking an experienced leader to guide multiple development programs through preparation activities in order to drive successful manufacturing execution. The ACES organization will be upgrading legacy systems to provide protection to the customer for emerging threats. This leader will need to assure that our manufacturing capabilities are aligned with design expectations to influence bottom line impact. This role will reported directly to the ACES Product Line Director.
In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.
Key expectations of the role include:
- Plans, manages, coordinates, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes transition expectation for large, classified development programs for successful production launch.
- Support Program Managers and Operations Program Managers to achieve financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives. Participates in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company. Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.
- Coordinate transition to production lesson learned and best practices across the entire portfolio. Share lessons across multiple Business Areas.
- Effectively coordinate with program management, engineering, quality and operations leaders (new product introduction teams)

Required Skills and Education- Bachelors Degree and 10 years work experience
- Experience working with multi-discipline cross functional project teams, utilizing strong communication and collaboration skills to successfully manage transition to production activities.
- Experience working in all aspects of Lifecycle Management Phases.
- Demonstrate visible leadership across the business by leading by example and influencing strategic thinking across functions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to senior leaders and customers
- Business acumen mindset, awareness within and outside the business
- Experience managing Operations performance by monitoring quality, schedule and cost performance of all Operations functions.
- Experience executing Quality Science tools (APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, Statistical Process Controls, Lean Six Sigma, Auditing) along with relevant industry standards (AS9100, AS9102, AS9145)
- Ability to obtain a SAP/SAR clearance level
Preferred Skills and Education- Bachelors Degree in a technical field
- Master's degree
- EMD (Engineering and Manufacturing Development) phase leadership
- Experience running 3P Kaizens (Production, Preparation, Process)
- Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certified
