The Director, Clinical Services (DCS) is responsible for the leadership and direction of clinical services provided at multiple locations. The DCS oversees the coordination, continuity, and quality of clinical care as well as the management of client services. The DCS participates in the recruitment, training, and development of staff, and provides the supervision necessary to facilitate the provision of quality care. The DCS monitors, evaluates, and takes action on clinical measures of performance.
• Provides direction and support to staff to deliver quality services with a focus on organizational success.
• Responsible for directing the accurate, complete and timely provision of quality client care and services in compliance with regulatory, operational and financial requirements.
• Assures the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of clinical records in compliance with regulatory, operational and financial requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) regulations and standards.
• Responsible for monitoring and evaluating clinical measures of performance including, but not limited to productivity standards, documentation completion standards, and management of patient care. Develops and follows through with action plans based upon measurement results.
• Acts as back up to Director, Area Operations.
Job Requirements
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (BSN preferred), Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist in good standing to practice in the state(s) is required.
• Has training and experience in health service administration and at least three years of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care or related health programs. Five years of management experience required. Home care management experience is preferred.
• Three years home care clinical experience is required.
• Two years of appropriate hospital clinical experience is preferred
• In Washington State, all providers must meet NPI requirement and furnish proof prior to onboarding
• Certified in ICD-9 coding and OASIS, or willing to obtain both certifications within the first two years of employment.
