We have an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to join the Raytheon Digital Technology Finance organization as a Principal Specialist Financial Analyst. This role supports the Program & Infrastructure organization within Digital Business Systems.
As a member of the DT Finance team, the successful candidate will enjoy a fast-paced working environment and be responsible for overseeing several teams including Networks & Integration Services (NIS) and Hosting Services financials.
Scope of work includes budget development, monthly variance reporting, analysis, and forecasting. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to ad hoc analysis and reporting, maintaining historical records, trend analysis, recommending and interpreting budgetary policies and procedures, and participating in external/internal management reviews. Reporting includes daily/weekly/monthly expenses, labor usage, variance reports, risk and opportunity analysis on established budgets, and development of year-end forecasts from consolidated business inputs.
The ability to be self-sufficient as well as operating in a team environment, supporting both the Functional organizations as well as Finance ensuring financial commitments are met will be fundamental to success in this role.
What You Will Do
Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis including costs, risks, and opportunities for Digital Technologies (DT).
Ensure the EACs are planned according to CAS segment needs. Analyze the changes from prior EAC by CAS for DT.
Broad responsibility which includes analysis requirements for performance to the latest EAC across CAS segments.
Perform detailed financial analysis to help define and understand the monthly variances to budget baseline and EAC positions.
Support the preparation of monthly Management Business Reviews and internal reviews for DT.
Maintenance of the alternate cost center hierarchy in APEX/SAP, Budget preparation.
Ensure changes to cost centers or creation of cost centers follows approved processes and address CAS specific requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Experience with Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas)
Experience using other Microsoft Office tools (including Word and PowerPoint)
Experience of using financial software systems

Experience working within teams.
Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA, SQL).
Experience in using SAP Business Systems (APEX, PRISM, Business Warehouse)
Clear, succinct, and polished written and verbal communication skills
Convey business acumen to stakeholders without financial background or expertise
Comfort taking on dynamic environments and taking on new challenges
Defense Contracting Finance work experience

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
