Digital Learning Designer to transform business needs into impactful digital learning experiences that drive performance, adoption, and professional growth across the organization.
In this role, you'll combine instructional design expertise, multimedia development skills, and emerging AI tools to create scalable learning solutions that support onboarding, systems training, leadership development, professional growth, and change initiatives. You'll partner closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and Learning & Development colleagues to build learning experiences that are engaging, accessible, and aligned with business goals.
What You'll Do
Design Engaging Digital Learning Experiences
- Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, and Learning & Development colleagues to assess learning and performance needs.
- Design and develop eLearning courses, microlearning content, interactive learning experiences, job aids, and performance support tools.
- Create learner-centered solutions that apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
- Continuously improve learning experiences through stakeholder and learner feedback.
Create Multimedia Content
- Develop videos, graphics, animations, audio, and interactive assets that support learning and performance.
- Translate complex processes, systems, and business concepts into clear, engaging, and visually compelling content.
- Create reusable templates and design assets that improve consistency and scalability across learning programs.
- Maintain organized source files and digital assets for ongoing updates and reuse.
Drive Quality and Accessibility
- Ensure all digital learning content meets quality, accessibility, branding, and technical standards.
- Test, publish, and maintain learning content within Workday Learning and other learning technologies.
- Troubleshoot content issues and partner with Learning Technology teams to support successful deployment.
- Maintain and update learning content as business processes and organizational priorities evolve.
Leverage AI and Emerging Technologies
- Utilize approved AI-enabled tools to accelerate content creation, scripting, ideation, media production, and quality reviews.
- Identify opportunities to improve development efficiency while maintaining strong governance and quality standards.
- Share best practices and emerging approaches with Learning & Development colleagues.
- Stay current on learning technologies, instructional design trends, and AI-enabled development capabilities.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, Communications, Organizational Development, Digital Media, Human Resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing digital learning content in a corporate, consulting, educational, or similar environment.
- Demonstrated experience applying instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Experience creating digital learning solutions including eLearning, microlearning, videos, interactive modules, graphics, job aids, and performance support resources.
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop learning solutions for complex topics, systems, or business processes.
- Experience creating accessible, user-friendly digital content and maintaining quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting onboarding, enterprise systems training, leadership development, operational training, or change management initiatives.
- Experience developing and publishing SCORM-compliant content.
- Experience administering or publishing content within a Learning Management System (LMS), particularly Workday Learning.
- Portfolio showcasing instructional design, multimedia production, and digital learning development capabilities.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools for content development, media creation, or learning design workflows.
