Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for Digital Integrator, Lab Execution Systems.

The Digital Integrator - Plant Execution Systems serves as the digital lead and digital champion for manufacturing execution and operational technology platforms supporting pilot plants, development laboratories, and manufacturing operations.

This role acts as the bridge between scientific, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and digital teams, ensuring Plant Execution Systems are deployed, integrated, adopted, and continuously improved to enable data-driven operations and digital manufacturing.

The Digital Integrator is responsible for supporting platforms including:
  • Manufacturing Execution Systems
  • OSI-PI
  • Asset Framework and Event Framework
  • eLIMS integrations
  • Digital manufacturing analytics and reporting solutions


The position drives digital transformation initiatives that improve manufacturing efficiency, data integrity, and readiness for advanced analytics, AI, and autonomous operations.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Business Partnership
  • Serve as the digital representative for Plant Execution Systems within the CGT
  • Align plant execution capabilities with Digital & Automation and TDS Digital strategies.
  • Ensure ontology is embedded directly into our execution systems, including MES, OSI-PI and LIMS supporting clinical batch manufacture.
  • Represent digital team for Operations manufacturing during strategic planning and governance .
  • Optimize Visualization, Reporting capabilities.


System Adoption & Change Management
  • Drive successful implementation and rollout of manufacturing execution capabilities with focus on;
  • Ontology being embedded into execution systems
  • FAIR data being available within our Data storage systems
  • Support and ensure high data quality
  • Establish adoption strategies and business processes that promote sustainable execution and configuration to ensure data quality (FAIR data).
  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to embed digital ways of working.


Data Integration & Digital Manufacturing
  • Enable seamless integration between MES, OSI-PI, SAP, eLIMS, Benchling, Zontal, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Ensure manufacturing data is structured, contextualized, and available for analytics.
  • Collaborate with Digital, IT, and OT teams on Asset Framework and Event Framework implementation.


Governance & Data Integrity
  • Ensure system configuration aligns with approved master data and ontology standards.
  • Support GxP-compliant digital processes and computerized system validation activities.
  • Establish procedures that maintain data integrity, traceability.


Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8-10 years experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cell therapy, gene therapy, or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and OSI-PI
  • Experience supporting digital manufacturing or operational technology solutions.
  • Understanding of GxP regulations and data integrity requirements.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing capabilities.
  • Proven experience leading digital transformation or business process improvement initiatives.


Preferred
  • Understanding of ontology for Pharma
  • Experience with:
    • PES-X / MES platforms
    • OSI-PI
    • LIMS
  • Experience with system integration, data architectures, or manufacturing analytics.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and computerized system validation.
  • Project management certification or experience leading complex programs.
