We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. As we expand, we're looking for a Digital Hardware Engineer who will apply their skills and experience to lead the design of custom hardware and firmware for cutting-edge sensor and communication systems.
Location: This position is located in the Syracuse, NY office with the potential for hybrid arrangements.
Responsibilities:- Design and implement custom multi-layer circuit cards by performing part selection, schematic design, and aiding in layout activities
- Maintain component libraries and create new parts for schematic capture
- Perform functional test and verification activities for new hardware and aid in production transition and support
- Design HDL solutions for the latest Xilinx FPGAs and SoC devices
- Perform timing closure and create well constrained, maintainable solutions that are easily extensible and employ an efficient use of resources
- Use scripting languages such as Python and Bash to automate and improve workflows

Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years related professional experience
- Understanding of digital and analog circuits
- Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog to configure FPGAs and other embedded systems
- 10% travel
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience testing and validating analog and digital hardware using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
- Experience with modern Xilinx FPGAs and the Vivado design environment
- Experience with Communication and Sensor systems, Digital Signal Processing, Software Defined Radios, and RF System Design
- Experience with Matlab, Python, Linux

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is estimated at $89,000 to $110,000 annually. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
