As a key partner to HR, IT, and business stakeholders, you will play an integral role in evaluating, configuring, and supporting technology solutions that streamline processes, strengthen data-driven decision-making, and enable future-ready ways of working.

About This Opportunity

The Digital Capabilities System Analyst independently supports and leads the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday and other digital solutions that support people operations across the organization.

This role serves as a trusted technical partner, translating business needs into scalable system solutions while balancing governance, security, user experience, and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging technology, analytics, automation, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

What You'll Do

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday solutions and digital capabilities that support workforce operations and business priorities.

  • Partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable system solutions.

  • Lead moderately complex projects and system initiatives with minimal supervision.

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement digital capabilities that improve efficiency, productivity, and teammate experience.

  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes, eligibility rules, notifications, reporting, and system functionality.

  • Develop advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide actionable workforce insights.

  • Support integrations, EIBs, and data management activities while considering downstream system impacts.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and enhanced technology adoption.

  • Participate in release management, testing, implementation, and change management activities.

  • Ensure solutions align with governance, security, compliance, and architectural standards.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI-enabled capabilities, and workforce solutions to support enterprise scalability and innovation.

  • Support data accuracy, integrity, and workforce reporting through audits, validation, and quality assurance activities.

  • Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on system functionality and best practices.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, or related field.

  • 2-4 years of Workday, HRIS, or related systems experience.

  • Experience configuring Workday modules, including:

    • Notifications

  • Advanced Workday reporting experience, including calculated fields, dashboards, and workforce analytics.

  • Knowledge of integrations, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and data auditing processes.

  • Understanding of release management, testing methodologies, change control, and governance practices.

  • Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes, including hiring, job changes, compensation, leave management, and separations.

  • Experience partnering with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while leading initiatives across functional teams.

Preferred

  • Workday Pro Certification or progress toward certification.

  • Experience evaluating and implementing digital capabilities, automation tools, and AI-enabled solutions.

  • Experience supporting workforce analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Workday Security experience.

  • Experience supporting Workday Compensation, Advanced Compensation, or other Workday functional areas.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project delivery frameworks.

  • Experience supporting large, complex HRIS or enterprise technology environments.

  • Knowledge of emerging HR technologies and workforce transformation initiatives.
