Job Description:

  • Days
  • Onsite not a remote position
  • Collects and analyzes clinical data across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases, identifying trends and supporting accreditation efforts.
  • Leads program development and evaluation for digestive health initiatives, including assessment, implementation, and modification of care pathways.
  • Assesses complex digestive health patient cases, performs concurrent medical record reviews, and communicates findings to leadership for quality improvement. Serves as a single point of contact for patients, caregivers, and referring physicians, coordinating follow-up services and addressing barriers to care.
  • Conducts preventive health chart reviews, arranges patient education, and facilitates communication between patients and clinical teams.
  • Develops and implements evidence-based programs and workshops based on quality data and clinical needs, including emergency interventions and staff education.
  • Participates in research activities, communicates regulatory updates, and serves as a resource for evidence-based practice and meaningful use requirements. Leads protocol development and evaluation efforts, recommending structural or process changes to improve care quality and reduce costs.
  • Maintains subject matter expertise, models professionalism, and supports staff education and mentoring across interdisciplinary teams.
  • Honors patient rights, practices compassionate communication, and promotes a culture of safety, respect, and teamwork.
  • Demonstrates accountability, complies with institutional policies and regulations, and actively participates in meetings, development programs, and performance improvement initiatives.

Education:
  • Associate of Nursing [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:
