Who you are:As a DevSecOps Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Primary technical lead to manage and evolve our IBM Engineeering Lifecycle Management (ELM) instance on-premise hosted locally here at Manassas, VA.
- Evolving and maintaining existing infrastructure solutions, including DevSecOps tools, Model Based Systems Engineering tools, and Orchestration and Virtualization Frameworks
- Providing support for infrastructure maintenance outages, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Identifying and implement improvements to existing architecture, system workflows, and team processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance architecture, deploy new/upgraded tools, and ensure optimal performance
- Working independently with minimal direction, exercising latitude in determining technical objectives and approaches to assignments

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 9+ years of professional experience, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Willing to learn and quickly come up to speed on IBM ELM.
- Demonstrated experience designing and improving environments.
- Advanced knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps processes and tools.
- Advanced knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with Linux Operating Systems, including Ansible
- Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Java, C#, C, C++, Python, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with development, operations, and security teams to articulate security concerns and solutions effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and solve security and operational challenges in a timely and effective manner.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Desired Skills- User or administrative experience with IBM ELM.
- Experience with cloud-agnostic infrastructure as code and configuration as code technologies (e.g., Helm, Vagrant, Terraform)
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and standards, including:
- Container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), Logging and monitoring (e.g., Splunk, Grafana), or Containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman, RKE2).
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying updated with the latest security threats, technologies, and DevSecOps trends.
- Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMWare, OpenStack)
- Technical documentation creation and management, including documenting existing environments
- Familiarity with GitLab and GitLab pipelines.
- Experience with Certificate Authority and Domain Name Server management.
- Knowledge of binary repository solutions (e.g., Artifactory Pro, Nexus).
- Ability to work comfortably with different customers in varying work environments.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $135700.00 - $251900.00
