Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a
DevSecOps Engineer to support a major federal modernization program in
Huntsville, AL. The DevSecOps Engineer will drive secure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure-as-code initiatives, and cloud-based delivery across AWS and hybrid environments.
DevSecOps Engineer - Location: Huntsville, ALResponsibilities of the DevSecOps Engineer include:- Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting automated builds, testing, security scanning, and deployments
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies
- Integrate security controls, compliance validations, and automated vulnerability scanning into deployment pipelines
- Support containerized application deployments utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native services
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, cloud, and product teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and improve automation processes
Qualifications for the DevSecOps Engineer include:- 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD engineering, secure automation, or related disciplines
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance required
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, and configuration management tools
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud environments, secure software development practices, and infrastructure automation
- Experience with automated security tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Anchore, Twistlock, or Nessus preferred
- Bachelor's degree required
Compensation for the DevSecOps Engineer includes:- $165,000 - $175,000
