Role Summary:
Experienced DevOps Lead responsible for CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure, release management, and operational reliability while working closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead DevOps strategy, automation roadmap, and platform engineering practices.
Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for build, test, deployment, and release automation.
Implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Manage Docker/Kubernetes deployments and ensure environment stability.
Drive monitoring, incident management, RCA, security, compliance, and reliability improvements.
Mentor DevOps engineers and collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams.
Required Skills:
Hands on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Terraform/Ansible, and Bash or Python scripting.
Good understanding of networking, system administration, observability, and release management.
Strong problem solving, communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
8+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years in DevOps/cloud/platform engineering.
Experience leading DevOps teams or enterprise automation initiatives.
Relevant AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or DevOps certifications preferred.
Salary:
Fulltime: The pay range for this role is CAD$100,000 - CA$120,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
