As a DevOps Engineer you will contribute to the design, deployment, and maintenance of a full stack containerized micro services architecture as well as technical systems administration, installation, and configuration. You will participate in fostering a DevOps culture, building strong cross functional collaboration with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams, in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of developers, other software integrator and system administrators on the following key tasks:
- To deploy, triage and maintain a production big data pipeline using a micro service architecture running on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch back-end, and Kafka messaging
- Enhance and maintain CI/CD and DevOps scripts and processes including AI-integrated solutions for failure analysis, security and compliance to facilitate faster development, quicker error detection and resilient deployments
- Design, develop, and support scalable, redundant infrastructure to include physical and virtualized environments
- Configure Kubernetes (Helm, YAML, etc.) continuous deployments using ArgoCD.
- Collaborate with System Engineers to design solutions for new features and requirements
- Provide technical input to systems engineering documentation and diagrams/models working in coordination/collaboration with SE team members and Architect team
- Participate in Agile release planning, scrum of scrums, bug triage, design sessions and other meetings
- Develop PaaS solutions for hybrid deployments and secure multi-tenant GPU sharing solutions in a the Kubernetes environments.
You bring enthusiasm, the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience, and meet the following qualifications:
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience with 8+ years in software development, system engineering or related field. 6+ years of experience with Master's degree.
- Must have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
- Possess at least one DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification, e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, SSCP, CISSP (or Associate)
- Ability to obtain Privileged User Account (PUA) certification per DoD 8570 policy
- Experienced with container/container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes and troubleshooting experience with:
- Ingress/Gateway API
- Multi-tenant GPU sharing
- Helm chart design/build
- Pod disruption budgets
- Affinity/anti-affinity rules
- Familiarity with external-secrets, ArgoCD, cert-manager, eck (elastic search)
GitLab pipeline development experience including:
- Integration of GitLab CI/CD components
- Integration of GitLab Code Quality reports
- Integration of GitLab Code Coverage/Test reports
- Knowledgeable in navigating Linux OS, specifically:
- Knowledgeable about sysctls for K8s environments
- FApolicyd and SELinux experience
- Comfortable with Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana
Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution

Pay Rate
Salary range considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
