ResponsibilitiesI2X Technologies is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will be on-siteand will require an active Top Secret Clearance.
- As a DevOPS Cloud engineer Global team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using a variety of technologies including Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell.
- Test and validate automation solutions to ensure they meet requirements and are free from defects.
- Must be a detail oriented individual that is able to track the impact of events/actions on the underlying infrastructure being managed, such as patching and maintenance.
Qualifications
- 5 years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
- An Active Final TOP SECRET clearance is needed prior to starting
- Candidate must obtain a DOD 8570/8140 certification such as Security+ CE or equivalent within three months of starting.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, RedHat Openstack, or Nutanix
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration
- Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible
- Experience working within a Scrum team in an Agile environment
Desired Experience and Skills
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience implementing configuration management methodologies using Ansible
- Prior experience with a Nutanix Hyperconverged on-prem cloud platform
- Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
- Scrum Master experience is a plus
