Job Description:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer capable of working with a software development team to provide enterprise system support. Successful candidate will be expected to provide cloud service expertise in one or more of these areas: Java application integration, java enterprise services and experience with the CI/CD pipeline and DEVOPS on the customer network within the AWS Platform. The candidate should have extensive experience or training in cloud engineering and is capable not only of delivering capabilities tied to cloud engineering but also capable of passing their knowledge on to others.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Experience supporting containerized EC2's.
  • Building and deploying docker containers with various software like Nginx, SOLR, and Zookeeper.
  • Maintaining CI/CD pipelines with new containers based on legacy builds.
  • Build full CI/CD pipelines from scratch deploying Spring web services into AWS/C2S environment utilizing industry best practices and Devops principles with tools like Jenkins and Terraform.

DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Documented Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation,etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience with developing and deploying in Ruby/Ruby on Rails;
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, GOTS Nitro, Platforma
  • Collaborate effectively across teams
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle), SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
  • Excellent skills in DB Schema design and SQL development

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

The likely salary range for this position is $142,792 - $186,791. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
