Full Job Description
Position Summary:

Perform electrical and RF testing of RF components and assemblies, verify test results, analyze data, and prepare test reports in accordance with established procedures and requirements.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Function:
  • Understand the purpose and requirements of different types of test projects, including E-runs, H-runs, Q-runs, new model characterization, Applications test requests, Failure Analysis (FA) requests, and production failure verification.
  • Understand basic parameters and specifications for Mini-Circuits models and know how to locate and interpret applicable specifications.
  • Operate a variety of RF and electronic test equipment, including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Noise Figure Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
  • Prepare standard test setups using Network Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzers in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Verify test setups and ensure proper equipment configuration before testing.
  • Independently test passive and active devices for standard parameters using company-approved test programs.
  • Under supervision, perform testing of RF components for non-standard parameters, including tests involving pre-amplifiers, high-power amplifiers, custom modules, and engineering prototypes.
  • Review and analyze test data after test completion and prepare data summaries, customized reports, and block diagrams as required.
  • Identify and report hardware and software issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Assist with various test assignments as directed by the Manager or Supervisor, including HTOL, Burn-in, ESD, IV Curve, and other reliability or characterization testing.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.
  • Complete all work in accordance with company procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.

Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering testing procedures and processes.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Basic understanding of RF and electronic test equipment and measurement techniques.
  • Ability to distinguish colors in accordance with the Ishihara color vision test.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software and test programs.
  • Well-organized and able to manage multiple test assignments.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle test equipment and related hardware.
