Developer III for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. The Candidate will support the analysis, development, and maintenance of enterprise applications within a fast-paced technical environment. The Candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable software solutions while participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications for the Developer III:- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4+ years of experience in application development, systems analysis, or software testing
- Strong understanding of application development methodologies, systems analysis, and integration concepts
- Experience working with programming languages, development tools, and enterprise operating systems
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within technical teams
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation standards
Preferred Skills/Experience of the Developer III:- Experience with distributed technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, Git, Jenkins, Vue.js, Python, VS Code, or MongoDB
- Experience supporting enterprise or multi-platform application environments
- Interest in learning and supporting mainframe technologies alongside modern development tools
- Familiarity with production support and system enhancement activities
- Experience working within Agile or project-oriented technical environments
Responsibilities of the Developer III:- Analyze business and technical requirements to design and develop enterprise application solutions
- Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain software applications and system enhancements
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to support project delivery and organizational standards
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform debugging activities, and recommend system improvements
- Create technical documentation, workflow diagrams, specifications, and testing materials
- Support implementation, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise systems and applications
Work Location: Hybrid onsite schedule in Columbia, SC with multiple onsite days required weekly
