Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years in industrial piping design and project engineering, with 2 years in cryogenic environments.
• Advanced proficiency in 3D modeling platforms like Intergraph Smart 3D or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Strong skills in 2D drafting with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Experience with modeling review and clash detection tools such as Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Design compliant piping systems and layouts with detailed stress calculations.
• Incorporate cryogenic components into system designs, such as vaporizers and storage tanks.
• Generate 3D piping models and extract detailed 2D deliverables in compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and modify piping and instrumentation diagrams with process engineers or external vendors.
• Prepare bills of materials and material requisitions for procurement and construction.
• Manage facility design projects from conceptual design through to commissioning.
• Ensure designs meet Air Liquide's health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
