General NotesThe Design Manager is a valued member of the Communications, Marketing and Engagement team for UT’s Operational Services and Strategies (OSS) portfolio led by the VP of Operations. It reports to the Executive Director of Branding and Marketing, support design and multimedia activities and initiatives across the OSS portfolio, which includes Campus Operations and Planning, Campus Services, Central HR, Discovery to Impact, Real Estate Planning and Strategy, Texas Institute for Electronics, and University Housing and Dining.
Purpose
The Design Manager develops creative, goal-driven design solutions for projects across the Communications, Marketing and Engagement team for UT’s Operational Services and Strategies (OSS) portfolio under the VP of Operations. This role ensures visual continuity and alignment with the UT Austin brand across multiple initiatives and excels at developing and producing high-quality designs and materials while working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and can balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesRelevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications$85,000 + depending on qualifications
Working ConditionsThis is an on-site, full-time position at the UT main campus with occasional work at other UT locations.
