Key areas include season creative, social expression, editorial, digital, and social campaigns, along with the visual identity of our most important tentpole events. This is a hands-on role with a small team to grow and help thrive.

We are a small but mighty team making a lot of noise, looking for someone excited to build bold, emotionally resonant, culturally relevant creative in a fast-moving startup environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and elevate the creative expression of LOVB Pro across brand, social, editorial, digital, and experiential touchpoints
  • Help shape the visual language, aesthetic direction, and creative identity of the league
  • Contribute conceptually to athlete storytelling, tentpole moments, seasonal creative, and league experiences
  • Partner with LOVB Pro CMO on project creative, strategy, and the development of extraordinary work that pushes the brand forward
  • Partner closely with the SVP of Brand within LOVB Studio to build bold, culturally relevant creative across the LOVB Pro ecosystem
  • Help define the look and feel of key LOVB Pro events and experiences
  • Translate creative direction into thoughtful, elevated, and culturally relevant visual work
  • Maintain a high level of craft, taste, and attention to detail across all outputs
  • Stay deeply connected to trends and movements across sports, fashion, entertainment, art, and internet culture
  • Help inspire and elevate the overall creative culture of the team

Required & Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, elevated design sensibility, and strong visual storytelling
  • Excellent understanding of typography, composition, image-making, art direction, and visual systems
  • Strong understanding of social-first creative and how visual storytelling lives across platforms
  • Ability to work quickly and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Passion for women's sports, culture, and storytelling is a major plus

Education and Experience:

  • 7+ years of professional design experience within sports, fashion, entertainment, media, agency, or culture-driven brands
  • Experience building cohesive visual identities and creative worlds across both digital and physical spaces
  • Motion design and animation experience is a strong plus

Personal Attributes

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Solutions-oriented and able to identify when to escalate issues or challenges.
  • Strong collaborator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently while effectively partnering with a distributed, remote team.
  • Positive, proactive, organized, and creative - brings fresh ideas to problem-solving.
  • Highly adaptable and eager to learn in a rapidly evolving environment.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements (Remote):

  • Ability to operate a computer and use a keyboard, mouse, and video conferencing tools.
