Job SummaryGeneral Purpose:
Responsible for managing a team of Engineering & Design employees to ensure that cost, quality and delivery targets are met.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Provide technical direction to Engineering & Design teams.
- Oversee resources budgeting, allocation, review and approval.
- Track projects and progress through regular reviews.
- Develop dashboards and reports, which accurately measure progress, identify potential technical problems, and implement timely corrective actions to ensure that revenue commitments are met.
- Participate in tool design and feasibility technical reviews.
- Aid and guide in the development of product designs from proposal to delivery.
- Provide technical support to customer and Sales team.
- Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
- Provide technical direction through mold debug.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
- 9 years of engineering experience, including supervision.
- Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
- Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas
- Solid knowledge of injection molding.
- Demonstrated ability to develop talent as a key element of executing operational business plans.
- Provides strategic leadership for the function and the site.
