Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in automotive component design.
• Proficient in CATIA or NX CAD software for 3D modelling and GD&T drafting.
• Strong knowledge of kinematics, materials, and design for high-volume manufacture and assembly.
• Understanding of DFMEA, DVP&R, and structured root cause analysis methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• A genuine passion for mechanical design and automotive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D CAD models and engineering documentation including DFMEAs and tolerance stack-ups.
• Lead product development by defining and reviewing validation studies.
• Collaborate closely with program management, process, and quality teams to support DFM and DFA activities.
• Work with Electronics and Software teams to deliver integrated mechanisms solutions.
• Participate in hands-on assembly of new designs for prototype builds and testing.
• Directly communicate with customers to gather technical requirements and update on program status.
• Generate innovative design concepts to meet OEM requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in design processes and product performance.
