Job Description:The Deputy Service Domain Lead serves as the operational leader for the workstream and supports the Service Domain Lead. The Deputy Service Domain Lead is responsible for operational readiness, process governance, documentation strategy, training development, SME leadership, and continuous improvement activities across the workstreams.
The Work:Leadership- Coordinate cross-functional priorities and initiatives.
- Promote knowledge sharing and cross-training.
Documentation Governance- Own the workstream documentation strategy.
- Ensure TSGs, SOPs, and operational procedures remain current and accurate.
- Conduct periodic documentation reviews.
- Standardize procedural guidance across workstreams.
Training and Workforce Readiness- Develop and oversee workstream training programs.
- Establish readiness standards for operators and leadership.
- Coordinate certification and professional development efforts.
- Improve onboarding readiness from an operational perspective.
- Communicate and distribute the operator scorecards and ensure proper refresher training is completed.
Operational Excellence- Analyze operational trends and performance metrics.
- Identify systemic issues impacting service quality.
- Lead corrective actions and process improvement initiatives.
- Drive standardization and efficiency efforts throughout the program.
Technical Governance- Serve as the operational advisor to the Service Domain Lead.
- Maintain technical governance across workstreams.
- Ensure SMEs are aligned on standards, expectations, and best practices.
- Assist in major operational reviews and customer engagements.
Program Support- Act on behalf of the Service Domain Lead when delegated.
- Participate in strategic planning discussions.
- Support leadership reporting and executive briefings.
- Assist with major incidents and operational escalations.
- Coordinate end-to-end interview logistics, including scheduling, candidate communication, and interviewer alignment.
- Partner with the Service Domain Lead and recruiters to define role requirements, refine job postings, and support candidate pipeline management.
Here's what you need:- Master's degree + 4 years of relevant experience, OR Bachelor's degree + 8 years of relevant experience
- Deep, demonstrated technical/functional expertise across multiple workstream domains.
- Experience owning documentation strategy and governance (TSGs, SOPs) at a program level.
- Experience designing and overseeing training/readiness programs at scale.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying systemic operational trends and driving corrective action.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for advising the Program Lead and supporting executive/customer engagements.
Bonus points if you have:- Prior experience as an SME or senior technical lead across multiple workstreams on a similar cleared government program.
- Experience building or maturing training/certification programs.
- Experience deputizing for or acting on behalf of program leadership.
- Relevant technical certifications aligned to the program's workstream domains.
Security Clearance- Must have a TS/SCI with Polygraph

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
