Responsibilities

SafeGuard Services (SGS), a subsidiary of Peraton, performs data analysis, investigation, and medical review to detect, prevent, deter, reduce, and make referrals to recover fraud, waste, and abuse.

We are looking to add a Deputy Program Director to our SGS team of talented professionals

 

What you'll do:

The Deputy Program Director supports the Program Director in managing the full lifecycle of the contract, ensuring effective contract performance, compliance, and operational execution. This role assists with contract administration, program coordination, and performance management by monitoring schedules, deliverables, budgets, and key milestones.

 

  • Develop and maintain systems for data collection, reporting, and recordkeeping
  • Compile program metrics and performance data
  • Prepare reports and briefings
  • Provide leadership with regular updates on contract status, action items, and performance indicators.
  • Identify and communicate risks, support issue resolution, and help implement mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
  • In coordination with the Program Director, assist in developing procedures and processes to ensure compliance with contract requirements and program objectives, while collaborating with internal teams and government stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
  • Evaluate program performance and efficiency to ensure implementation remains on target and supports contract growth by providing operational insight, performance data, and reporting that inform strategic planning and future opportunities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 16 years of experience, may have management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of UPIC operations, staff management, workload, metrics, and contract requirements (SOW, program integrity manual)
  • Experience and knowledge of UPIC specific tasks such as investigative development, investigative best practices, administrative actions, customer coordination and expectations
  • Contract development and expansion
  • Subcontractor management and budgeting experience
  • US. citizenship required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
  • Management experience in UPIC operations at different management levels including supervision of people managers and directing a diverse workforce across multiple tasks.
  • Responding to bid proposals and technical proposals
  • Responding to requests from government agencies and oversight
Target Salary Range$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individuals experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
