Job OverviewThe DCD reports directly to the Contract Director (CD) and assists with the management of contractor performance across all work and functions described in the Statement of Work (SOW). This role supports oversight of high-volume operational activities and may be delegated authority over specific functional areas or large projects, depending on workload demands. The DCD must be able to perform all assigned management and coordination activities and regularly engage with the COR and program managers.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Duties:- Serve as team leader and ensure compliance with standards, operating procedures, and all contract requirements.
- Work with the CD to identify and resolve personnel-related issues; participate in addressing and resolving staff problems.
- Provide on-the-job training to newly assigned personnel; develop visual aids and guidance materials to support operational efficiency.
- Assist in collecting data for productivity reports; conduct internal surveys as directed by leadership.
- Resolve working-level complaints and operational issues within the scope of the contract.
- Ensure routine equipment maintenance is performed; support system modifications required due to increased workloads or organizational changes.
- Monitor and ensure appropriate staffing levels; initiate replenishment actions for expendable Government-furnished supplies.
Job RequirementsMandatory:- Comprehensive knowledge of all service functions performed under the contract.
- Working knowledge of personal computer operations and software applications.
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience in time-sensitive, service-oriented environments.
- Ability to manage high volumes of work and coordinate activities across multiple teams or functions.
- Ability to attend periodic and ad hoc meetings with COR and program stakeholders.
