Deployment Lead

Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a vision-driven Deployment Lead to join our Operations delivery team.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to elevate operational excellence by shaping the PMO frameworks and delivery processes that drive our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) strategy. By mentoring cross-functional delivery teams and aligning project roadmaps with executive leadership, your expertise will help bring predictability and structure to our complex product portfolio. Here, your guidance ensures seamless project execution across our global operational footprint.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee PMO process implementation: Drive consistency, efficiency, and predictability across the product delivery capability in support of PLM.
  • Lead portfolio management and reporting: Create dashboards for roadmaps and backlogs, manage budgets and purchase orders, and lead check-ins with senior stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop delivery teams: Supervise, coach, and support project managers, product delivery managers, and product owners to foster continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate cross-functional partnerships: Align IT and operational business partners to ensure clarity on project scope, deliverables, and risk management standards.
  • Manage project interfaces: Address operational, technological, and interface challenges by implementing robust risk and change management practices.


What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 15+ years of relevant work experience, including 10+ years in Project Management.
  • Strong knowledge of program and project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2, SCRUM, Hybrid Waterfall, Waterfall, Six Sigma, ITIL, LEAN, Kanban).
  • Proven ability to develop plans and deliver complex, large-scale programs alongside geographically distributed teams.
  • PMP certification (preferred); additional certifications such as CSM, ACP, Six Sigma, PgMP, or ITIL are a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (Master's degree preferred).
