Dental Hygienist – Monarch Dental | San Antonio, TX
What You’ll Do
As a Dental Hygienist, you’ll play an essential role in each patient’s care by:
- Providing comprehensive preventive and periodontal care based on individual patient needs.
- Performing assessments, diagnostics, periodontal charting, radiographs, and other services within your scope of practice.
- Educating patients on oral health, disease prevention, home care, and the connection between oral and overall health.
- Partnering closely with the dentist to identify patient needs and support comprehensive treatment planning.
- Building trust with patients through compassionate, judgment-free care.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and following established infection-control and safety standards.
- Staying current on clinical techniques, technology, and evidence-based approaches to dental hygiene.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a hygienist who brings clinical skill, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a difference for patients.
- Active Texas Dental Hygienist license or eligibility for Texas licensure.
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start.
- Strong communication and patient-education skills.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality standard of care through preventive treatments, diagnostics, and evidence-based protocols.
- Educate and motivate patients toward better oral and overall health.
- Collaborate with dentists and hygiene teammates to co-diagnose and personalize treatment.
- Create a welcoming, judgement-free environment for every patient.
- Stay current with new technologies and instruments that advance care.
Qualifications
Who We’re Looking For
- A licensed dental hygienist who is passionate about patient care, education, and practicing at the top of their scope to improve oral health outcomes.
- Either an active state hygiene license or eligibility to become licensed (new grads are welcome!)
- A current CPR certification
Compensation$50-$53 per hour
