We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Lincoln Dental Care in Welland, a proud part of the Passion Dental Group. Specifics about the role:
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Flexible availability required for Days, Evenings, and Weekends (Clinics operate 7 days a week with extended operating hours)
  • Wage: $50 - $55 per hour

What you'll do:
  • Performing a full range of clinical hygiene services-including scaling, root planning, polishing, and applying topical fluoride-with precision and care.
  • Assessing and case typing patients in alignment with clinical protocols to ensure appropriate and personalized care plans.
  • Acting as an oral health educator, guiding patients toward healthy habits and long-term preventative care strategies.
  • Building strong and trusting patient relationships through every interaction-your positive attitude and professionalism will shine.
  • Creating a tailored experience for each patient based on their unique needs, expectations, and goals.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Completion of a recognized Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
  • In good standing with CDHO
  • Malpractice/liability insurance through CDHA or ODHA
  • IPAC certified
  • CPR and WHMIS certification
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred
  • Experience working in a fast paced dental environment is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, you're as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, you're comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
  • Comfort with dental software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus!
  • Experience in Abeldent / Dentrix / Tracker is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Akitu One is preferred (training provided for selected candidate).
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows.
