Position SummaryThe Dental Hygienist is responsible for performing all aspects of dental hygiene practice to include dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, oral screenings, topical fluoride applications, making of radiographs, provision of dental health education on an individual or group basis, care and maintenance of dental equipment, provision of infection control procedures, proper disposal of biohazards within the dental operatory, documenting services provided in the patient's dental record, and assistance in completion and submission of monthly and annual dental activity reports as applicable. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Salary InformationThis position is in pay schedule and range 06-63 with a starting pay of $36.10/hour - $44.54/hour, plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period is required.

Job DetailsApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application.
Qualifications SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Applicants must possess current Wisconsin licensure as a Dental Hygienist or be licensed in another state and be eligible to obtain Wisconsin licensure by time of appointment.
- Must maintain CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) & AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certification during employment and have the ability to perform CPR and/or first aid to prevent loss of life and relieve suffering until appropriate care arrives.
Candidates will also benefit from:
