Location: Baltimore, Maryland Compensation: $70.00 hourly
We are looking for a
caring, enthusiastic, and dependable Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric dental practice
4 days per week.
Responsibilities - Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care for pediatric patients
- Take dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations
- Perform fluoride treatments and other preventive procedures
- Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene and cavity prevention
- Create a positive, comfortable, and age-appropriate experience for patients
- Assist with behavior guidance and help children feel comfortable during their visits
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with parents, the dentist, and the dental team
- Follow OSHA, infection-control, and office safety protocols
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
Qualifications - Current Dental Hygiene license in Maryland
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous pediatric dental experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, compassionate, and comfortable working with children of all ages
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Positive attitude and willingness to create a fun experience for our young patients
