Build and Scale the Demand Engine

Demand Generation and Marketing Manager - Cleanlist (London, ON | Onsite)

This isn't a "manage the calendar" role.

It's a build, generate, and scale role.

We're looking for a Demand Generation and Marketing Manager who can strengthen our pipeline of inbound opportunities, sharpen how we position Cleanlist in market, and turn marketing into a system that reliably fuels sales.

You'll own both:

  • Demand generation (primary focus)
  • Brand, content, and positioning (already solid, with room to sharpen)

If you're the kind of person who:

  • Knows how to generate and qualify demand-not just report on campaign metrics
  • Can build repeatable marketing programs that convert
  • And wants to build and run a system that performs

What You'll Actually Do

This role is part strategist, part operator, part builder.

1. Strengthen and Expand the Marketing Engine

  • Build and launch campaigns that generate qualified inbound
  • Increase the volume and quality of marketing-sourced leads
  • Test new channels and double down on what converts

Bottom line: You ensure demand is consistently strong and growing

2. Sharpen Positioning and Messaging

  • Own how Cleanlist shows up across web, content, and campaigns
  • Clarify our value proposition for enterprise marketing and data teams
  • Improve conversion at every stage of the funnel

This is about clarity and consistency-not one-off creative wins

3. Drive Demand Generation (Primary Focus)

  • Expand reach into new accounts and industries
  • Identify where our messaging wins-and double down
  • Build momentum in inbound pipeline growth

This is the #1 priority.

4. Support Sales and Existing Clients

  • Work closely with Sales to improve targeting and conversion
  • Build content and campaigns that support expansion and retention
  • Ensure marketing and sales are pulling in the same direction

Alignment with Sales makes both functions stronger

5. Build and Align the Marketing Function

  • Work with and develop any supporting team members or agency partners
  • Clarify priorities across brand, content, and demand gen Improve accountability, reporting, and execution

This is as much about alignment and leadership as it is about campaigns

6. Build the Marketing System

  • Refine the marketing process and playbook Improve funnel visibility and attribution
  • Work closely with Sales to tighten the handoff from lead to opportunity

Your job is to make demand generation predictable and scalable

What Success Looks Like (12 Months In)

  • Marketing-sourced pipeline is consistent and growing
  • Messaging and positioning are sharp and differentiated
  • Marketing execution is disciplined and measurable
  • Sales and Marketing are aligned, accountable, and improving together
  • Existing clients see consistent, high-quality content and communication

Who This Is Perfect For

This role is for someone who:

  • Has 5-10+ years in B2B marketing (data, SaaS, marketing services, or similar)
  • Has experience generating demand in mid-market or enterprise environments
  • Has personally built and run campaigns that convert
  • Has led or coached marketing team members or agency partners
  • Is hands-on, practical, and execution-focused
  • Cares about consistency, process, and results

You might be:

  • A Senior Marketing Manager or Marketing Director who still enjoys being close to the campaign
  • A strong player-coach who can both strategize and execute
  • Someone who wants to step into a role with real momentum and scale it

What This Is Not

  • Not a "start from zero" role
  • Not a purely brand or reporting role
  • Not dependent on a single campaign to win

If you're looking to build on a strong foundation and drive consistent growth, this will fit.

The Environment

  • High-performance, no-bureaucracy culture
  • Direct access to leadership and fast decision-making
  • A business with strong fundamentals and real momentum
  • Real autonomy-you'll be trusted to execute

Comp & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary + performance-based compensation
  • Meaningful upside tied to pipeline growth and expansion
  • Health, dental, disability, and life insurance
  • Opportunity to build and lead the marketing function as the company scales
