Full Job Description
As a US Delivery Senior Consultant on the team, you will:
  • Review bank-related runbooks (processing calendars, cutoffs, rerun procedures), known issues, and interface dependencies.
  • Triage payment/settlement incidents (rejections, processing exceptions, file-related issues), approval bottlenecks, and security/access issues.
  • Coordinate with integrations/technical teams for file failures and confirm end-to-end resolution and audit traceability.
  • Support routine payment operations and exception management (maintain controls documentation and operational reporting to track volumes), failures, and turnaround time.
  • Maintain SOPs and knowledge base for repeatable processing and faster incident resolution.
  • Propose improvements to payment exception workflows, operational dashboards, and controls to reduce manual effort and improve timeliness.
  • Support more complex enhancements/projects such as improved monitoring/alerting, streamlined approvals, and enhanced reconciliation-support reporting.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Workday Banking and Settlement Certified and/or Workday Financials Management
  • 5+ years of Workday Financials experience to include the following;
    • Experience in Banking and Settlements domain fundamentals (bank accounts, settlements, payments, bank statements, reconciliation concepts, cutoffs/timelines)
    • Experience working on triage, issue resolution, and incident management
    • Client facing operational support
  • Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:
    • Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia)
    • Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location
    • Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes
    • Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance
