The work:We are seeking an experienced
Delivery Lead who will take overall accountability for the successful delivery of one or more projects under the larger programs. This role requires a strong product management mindset and comfort with software development processes, though deep technical expertise is not required. You will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring seamless delivery through effective leadership and agile practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Accountability & Ownership: Take end-to-end accountability for project and program delivery, ensuring successful outcomes that meet client expectations and business objectives
- Product Management: Act as a strategic product thinker, working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable delivery plans
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and maintaining high performance throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Agile Facilitation: Guide teams through agile ceremonies and practices, ensuring effective sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and maintaining transparent communication on progress, risks, and dependencies
- Process Optimization: Establish and maintain working agreements, team norms, and delivery processes that enable efficient and predictable execution
Here's what you need:- 3-5 years of experience as a Delivery Lead, managing complex projects and programs from inception through delivery
- 1+ years of experience acting as a Product Owner and/or Product Manager, with demonstrated ability to:
- Develop and refine product backlogs
- Write and prioritize User Stories
- Balance competing stakeholder needs'
- Make data-informed product decisions
Agile Expertise- Experience with Agile frameworks, specifically Scrum and Kanban (strongly desired but not required)
- Proven track record of mobilizing new Agile projects and teams, including:
- Developing compelling Product Visions
- Creating and maintaining Product Roadmaps
- Establishing team working agreements and governance structures
- Building high-performing agile teams from the ground up
Technical Familiarity- Familiarity with basic principles of agile software engineering practices, including:
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- DevOps principles and practices
- Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and understand software development workflows
