Job Summary
We are seeking a Defensive Cyber Operations Planner to support future operations (FUOPS) planning and defensive cyberspace operations in support of mission areas. The role will apply operational art and design principles to defensive cyberspace planning, integrate relevant Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE) elements, and lead diverse stakeholders through the development and execution of plans aligned with Commander priorities, intent, and mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and support future operations (FUOPS) planning and defensive cyber operations execution.
Apply principles of operational art and design to the development of defensive cyberspace plans.
Gather and integrate relevant elements of Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE) in preparation for cyberspace planning.
Lead teams of diverse stakeholders across the defensive cyberspace community in developing plans aligned with Commander priorities, intent, and mission requirements.
Author and staff cyber-related CONOPS and Level 1 through Level 4 plans, including Commander's Estimates, BPLANS, CONPLANS, and OPLANS.
Required Qualifications
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
10+ years of overall professional experience.
4+ years of experience in cyber operations management, analysis, planning, or a related area.
Demonstrated experience creating and authoring cyber-related CONOPS and Level 1 through Level 4 plans, including Commander's Estimates, BPLANS, CONPLANS, and OPLANS.
Demonstrated experience supporting defensive cyberspace operations and operational planning.
Experience applying operational art and design principles to cyberspace planning.
Experience gathering and integrating JIPOE elements into operational planning.
Experience leading diverse stakeholder teams in support of cyber operations planning and mission objectives.
Completion of at least one of the following courses or programs: JPME I, JPME II, JAWS (Joint Advanced Warfighting School), School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), Army Cyber Operations Planners Course (ACOPC), Joint Cyber Operations Planners Course (JCOPC), or Joint Advanced Cyber Warfare Course (JACWC).
