Defense Mission Expert The Opportunity: As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others dont. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to guide teams as they solve some of our clients most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe. As a defense mission expert, youll bring your vast expertise to work alongside thought leaders supporting Navy capability development. Youll use your skills and expertise to research, develop, analyze, and produce high-priority deliverables in coordination with subject matter experts and stakeholders. You Have: 3+ years of experience as a U.S. Navy warfare officer, including as a department head Experience working on an Echelon III or higher staff Experience in multiple Navy warfare or mission areas Experience in operational and exercise planning Ability to author high-quality products using Microsoft Office applications Ability to compile input from multiple authors, research discrepancies, and analyze results Ability to travel up to 10% of the time TS/SCI clearance Bachelors degree Nice If You Have: Experience serving on an afloat staff Knowledge of the operational level of war and Distributed Maritime Operations Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines Masters degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
