Description & Requirements

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Dedicated IT Project Manager to join our team in McLean, VA. In this role, you will coordinate the successful execution of technical and creative projects while serving as a primary liaison between mission partners, stakeholders, and project teams. This role requires exceptional project management, communication, and design expertise to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Manage multiple projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with mission objectives, schedules, deliverables, and quality standards.
  • Gather and translate mission partner requirements into actionable project plans, independently conceptualizing and executing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the design and development of professional visual products, including PowerPoint presentations, strategic briefings, logos, coins, seals, maps, placemats, and other graphic materials.
  • Develop high-quality documentation, reports, presentations, and technical deliverables while providing creative and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and collaborate effectively in fast-paced, mission-driven environments to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide local travel support between customer buildings or temporary assignment to alternate locations for special projects.
  • Work an 8-hours shift within part of a coverage team operating between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience or an Associate's Degree with 6+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing technical projects and coordinating stakeholder requirements.
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality documents, presentations, and visual communication products using Microsoft PowerPoint and graphic design tools.
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles, branding, and presentation development.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing requirements, and deliver results with minimal oversight.
  • Experience managing project intake, prioritization, and assignment processes.
  • Direct knowledge of the customer's operational environment.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Direct knowledge of the customer's operational environment, including ticketing systems, desktop technologies, corporate applications, access administration, and voice/video infrastructure.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with co-workers, management, and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing tasks and requirements while learning new skills quickly on the job.

Clearance Requirements:
  • An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
